Chicken Risotto

A very simple version of a well-known recipe.
Ingredients
1 Onion
Bacon
Chicken (pieces)
Green or red pepper
1/2 cup of Rice per person
Chicken stock cube
Mixed herbs
Peas
Black pepper (to season)
 
Preparation
Dry fry onion and bacon for 5 minutes
Add chicken, pepper and herbs and cook until sealed
Add rice, chicken stock cube and peas
Add water to cover rice and simmer for 15/20 minutes, until rice is soft, adding more water if necessary.
Season well with black pepper
