Five Bean and Veggie Slow Cook Chilli

This is not a recipe I've tried but a friend of mine really enjoys it and it adds variety to the vegetarian recipes on this site.

Ingredients
800g tinned tomatoes
500g Passata
300g Cannelini Beans
400g Chickpeas
300g Pinto Beans/Borletti Beans
800g Red Kidney Beans
2 Large onions
2 Peppers
2 Courgettes
4 Carrots
10-12 Mushrooms chopped
4 Chillies, deseeded and chopped
Handful of green beans
2 Sticks of celery
2 tbs chilli powder
1 tbs mild curry powder
2 tsp corriander
1 tsp ginger
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp cayenne pepper
Preparation
  1. Chop vegetables roughly
  2. Drain beans, rinse and toss into pot together with veggies
  3. Add tomatoes and passata
  4. Season and add chilli powder and the rest of the ingredients
  5. Cook in slow cooker for 4-6 hours
