Sausage and Mash

A simple traditional dish, which can be made dairy and soya free by using appropriate margarine (or mayonnaise, see recipe) in the potatoes and using suitable gravy.  This can also be made vegetarian by using vegetarian sausages.
Ingredients
8 large Pork Sausages
8 medium sized Potatoes
10g of dairy and soya free margarine
Vegetables of your choice (e.g. peas/carrots/broccoli)
Olive oil (optional, if frying sausages)
Vegetarian Organic Gravy Powder
Preparation

Cook sausages as required – grill/fry or oven cook, approx. 25 mins.  Ensure that sausages are properly cooked (have no pink inside) before serving.

 
At the same time boil the potatoes for 20 minutes and then mash with suitable margarine or with mayonnaise (see mayonnaise mash recipe).
 
Alongside the potatoes cook your chosen vegetables as required.
 
Make gravy as per packet instructions.
 
Serve.
