Tomato and Basil Pasta

I've not yet tried this recipe, however it looks quick, easy and nice!  I hope you enjoy it.

3 tbsp Olive oil
2 onions (chopped)
1 garlic clove (optional)
375g passata 
1 tbsp tomato puree
Handful of basil leaves
Pasta (to serve 4 approx 300g)
100ml dry white wine
Salt and pepper
Suitable 'cheese' grated (if required)
1) Heat oil in saucepan, add onion and garlic and fry until soft.
2) Meanwhile cook the pasta.
3) Add passata, tomato puree and wine to the onions and simmer for 15 minutes.  Then add most of the basil leaves and seasoning.
4) Drain the cooked pasta and top with tomato and basil sauce.
5) Serve topped with grated 'cheese' and the remaining basil leaves.
