Apple Crumble


This is a really tasty dessert which I've really enjoyed eating, but not attempted to cook myself - yet!

Ingredients
170g Self Raising Flour
85g Suitable Margarine
85g Granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Brown sugar to sprinkle on top (optional)
3 - 4 medium cooking apples
1 dessert spoon of sugar to add to apple (adjust to own taste)
1 tbs water to add to apple
Preparation
1) Preheat oven to 180 degrees (gas mark 4) 
2) Rub the margarine into the flour to a bread crumb consistency
3) Add the granulated sugar and cinnamon and mix in
4) Peel and slice the apples and lay in the base of an oven proof dish
5) Add the water and sugar (for the apple)
6) Place the crumble mixture over the apples and level it off a little
7) Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top.
8) Cook in the oven for approx 30 - 35 minutes (check that it is golden).
