Ingredients 100g suitable margarine 140g caster sugar 1 egg 3 soft bananas 200g self raising flour 1/4 tsp baking powder | Preparation 1) Preheat oven to 150 degrees, Gas Mark 2 (adjust down for fan ovens). 2) Cream the margarine and sugar together. 3) Mash in the bananas and add the egg and mix well. 4) Add the flour and baking powder and mix well again. 5) Place the mixture into a loaf tin. 6) Cook in the oven for 1 - 1and 1/4 hours (check to see if cooked by inserting a skewer - it should come out clean). 7) Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cooking rack. |
