Ingredients
200g Porridge Oats 100g appropriate Margarine
75g Sugar
4 level tbs golden syrup
A pinch of salt |
Preparation
Melt the margarine in a large saucepan. Add the syrup and warm for a couple of minutes.
Meanwhile mix the sugar, salt and oats.
Remove syrup mixture from the heat and stir in the oats - make sure they are all completely covered by syrup.
Grease a shallow baking tray an sppon in the mixture - spread it evenly and cook in the oven at 180 degrees (Gas mark 4) for 15-25 minutes. |
