Ingredients 225g suitable margarine 225g soft brown sugar 4 eggs beaten 225g raisins/sultanas 350g self-raising flour 1 tsp ground cinnamon | Preparation 1) Grease and line a deep 8 inch/20cm cake tin 2) Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat together for 2-3 minutes or until thoroughly mixed 3) Place mixture into prepared tin 4) Bake in oven at 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes (until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean) 5) Leave in tin for 5 minutes and then place on a wire rack to cool. |
