Ingredients 250g plain flour pinch salt 100g suitable margarine 2-3 tbsp cold water Jam - for the filling | Preparation 1) Preheat the oven (180 degrees C) 2) Grease a 12 hole tart mould 3) Make the pastry by mixing flour and salt. 4) Then rub in margarine until you've made 'breadcrumbs'. 5) Using a knife to cut and stir the mixture add the cold water until the dough binds together. 6) Roll out the pastry onto a floured surface, use a tart cutter or a cup to cut circles from the pastry a little larger than the holes in your mould. 7) Gently press one circle into each hole. 8) 3/4 fill each one with jam. 9) Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack to cool. |
