Ingredients 500g royal icing sugar Few drops peppermint flavouring Few drops your chosen food colouring | Preparation 1) Line a baking tray with grease proof paper. 2) Mix up icing sugar as per pack instruction with peppermint flavouring taking the place of a little water. Mix with a spoon and then with your hands to make a ball. 3) Add a few drops of food colouring and then using a little extra icing sugar on a board, kneed the icing until the colour is even throughout. 4) Roll out the icing to about 5mm thick and cut shapes with pastry cutters. 5) Place on the baking tray and leave to set for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight. |
